Ryan has been tattooing in Charlottesville since 2009. In 2020, he decided it was time to open his own studio, and Spitfire Tattoo and Gallery was born. Ryan specializes in color tattooing ranging from traditional, neo-traditional, color realism and comic book styles. Ryan loves making his clients ideas come to life and strives to give them his best work every day.
Nico Capriotti
Hailing from Portland Oregon, Nico has been tattooing since 2020, and in 2026 made a home here in beautiful Charlottesville. Attention to detail, clean lines, and a gentle hand is how clients describe her work. Specializing in bold illustrative works with a focus on pop culture, she takes pride in ensuring clients have a comfortable and safe experience.
Outside of the shop you’ll find her playing video games, adventuring in D&D, reading comics, or hiking.

Fernando has been tattooing for 8 years, raised in Los Angeles California. He has been doing art like oil painting, graffiti, acrylic and other multi media styles all his life. A retired skateboarder but you’ll still catch him riding every now and then.
He loves helping clients bring their ideas to life in color, black and gray realism, neo traditional, illustrative, watercolor, and more.
